So it’s another Sunday post and NOT because I was too hungover or semi forgot and wasn’t prepared, but because there’s been another happy day. That’s right folks- yesterday the freaking fabulous Clio and Euan got married- hooray! And hooray for another wedding outfit guide, see my August one here. (Fun fact- that post is still your favourite one so far).
A Winter wedding is such a special novelty that I got quite overexcited at the outfit planning possibilities. VELVET. SEQUINS. TIGHTS. In the end I went for the mega on trend (being a total fashionista right?!) Winter florals. If you’re thinking, ‘Ooo Cordelia, do you mean prints of flowers typically found in Winter- jasmine and the like?’ Answer: no. It’s any floral, just with a darkish background.
I had a gift voucher for John Lewis so after scouring their website went for this beauty from Whistles. Here’s me stood in front of a HUGE balloon sculpture.
A graphic yellow/green jumpsuit might be enough of a statement in it’s own right, but I decided to take it to the next level. With double faux fur. COSY. I didn’t quite get a photo of coat, jumpsuit and bag but you can see a tiny glimpse of bright red fur in this one of Mr H and I on the London red bus.
Clio is one of the most joyful people I know and the wedding was absolutely beautiful, with every detail considered. Check out the table.
And the view.
And the two strange men accompanying Pippa and I.
Back to the outfits: here are some other Winter floral options for your perusal:
I didn’t go for these shoes because triple faux fur just seemed an inch too far. But LOOK.
Thank you Clio and Euan for one of my favourite wedding and London days xxx
