August Wedding: Get the look.

Firstly, a HUGE thank you for all the likes and comments and support on Facebook and Instagram last week. Sharing my earring post felt like it would be the cringiest thing ever but you have all been so kind and supportive, I really appreciate it!

This week I’m posting a day late (I’m aiming to post every Saturday) because Saturday was our lovely friends Drew and Charlotte’s wedding and I thought I’d show you my wedding outfit.

One of the many benefits of working at Boden is the incredible staff allowance we get- disclaimer the majority of clothes I have are from Boden, bought on the staff allowance- Icons embroidered jacket- looking at you. The second benefit is where the staff allowance fails the sample sale WINS. I picked up this amazing maxi dress in our sample sale from last year’s Icons range.

The PROBLEM with buying a dress in a sample sale is that you try it on quickly, slinging it on over your breton and jeans to judge that it roughly fits you. I would recommend trying on said dress again at home properly before planning to wear it to a wedding. I put the dress on about half an hour before I needed to leave the house and realised that my boobs were completely out. The green cami does not come with the dress. The drunker I got the more wonky the cami became.

Edward is wearing tails. Actual TAILS.

For me, the floral, printed maxi is the ultimate in British summer wedding glam. Floating around in a long dress, ideally with a large hat, sipping a glass of prosecco-hopefully sheltering from the rain- is my dream look. See my floral Massimo Dutti dress I wore to my friend Sammy’s wedding last year in on the about me page.

My friend Pete and I finding each other completely hilarious. I seem to be lightly scratching him.

The wedding was in an actual castle.
